Relay Queens deliver Halloween costumes to children’s hospital

The Chilton County Relay for Life Queens delivered Halloween costumes to Children’s of Alabama Hospital on Oct. 24. The queens collected the costumes from Sept. 19-Oct. 19.
“The queens wanted to thank the community for supporting and donating costumes,” a press release from Sunny Mayes said. “They want to give a special thank you to the Chilton County High School SGA, the Jemison High School SGA, students at Thorsby High School, Young Miss Relay 2016 and Junior Miss Relay 2019 Alyssa, her family and fellow AUM cheerleaders, LaGretchen and Lacie Johnson, the 2023 Swedish Queens, the 2023 Strawberry Queens, the 2023 Blackberry Queens, the 2023 Miss Chilton County Queens, the Thompson High School Beta Club, Missy and her Glitz Girls at Glitz & Gowns (and for being a drop off) and patrons of Cajun Roux in Hoover. Thank you all for always willing to help others.”
