The Chilton County Chamber of Commerce held its second annual Chilton Chamber Golf Tournament in conjunction with its annual Fall Supper on Sept. 21, sponsored by McKinnon Toyota Nissan.
Clay Maddox and Donnie Hand, sponsored by J. Clay Maddox, LLC Attorney at Law, took home first place and won the $600 cash prize. Tommy and Randy Glasscock, sponsored by MorLyn’s Fine Jewelry, placed second and won $400 in cash. There was a tie for third place between Matt Murphy and Nathan Oldroyd, sponsored by J. Clay Maddox, LLC Attorney at Law, and Randall Fields and Rob Skelton, sponsored by First Bank of Alabama, and they both won the $200 prize.
After the announcement, all $1,200 handed out was donated back to the Chilton Chamber’s Mike Robertson Scholarship Fund.
Sam Kreider, representing American Lawn Care, and Cass Sheridan, representing River Bank & Trust, won the closest to the pin contest during the tournament.
Valle Grande Mexican Grill catered the Fall Supper following the tournament.
