Chilton County High School’s D.J. Jackson is this week’s athlete of the week after his performance against Tallassee High School on Sept. 29. Jackson paced the Tigers’ offense on the road to the tune of 240 rushing yards on 12 carries, a 20 yards per carry average, and punched in two touchdowns.

After a slow first half, Jackson was a catalyst in the second half where CCHS outscored Tallassee 21-6 and powered their way back to .500 on the 2023 football season with a matchup against Benjamin Russell High School on the horizon.
