Join the 2022 Thorsby Swedish Queen for the 2023 Swedish Fest Pageant sign ups and Disco Dolly Dance Party with D.J. Hines on Aug. 27. The sign ups and food will be served from 2-2:45 p.m. followed by the dance party from 2:45-4 p.m.
Contestants are encouraged to dress up in your Disco Dolly attire, but it is not required.
To download the pageant application visit www.thorsbyswedishfestival.com, click on ‘Beauty Pageant’ and ‘Info & Registration Form.’ There will also forms available at Thorsby City Hall that can be printed out, and all information for the pageant is on the application.
Practice for the Swedish Fest Pageant is on Sept. 24 at Thorsby High School and the pageant is on Oct. 7 at Thorsby High School. Tiny, Little and Young Swedish will be from 1-4:30 p.m., and Junior and Miss Swedish will begin at 5 p.m.
