Join the fun at the Lake Mitchell Poker Run on June 17! Register today for the family-friendly HOBO Poker Run by boat at Lake Mitchell this Saturday, June 17. Then, meet at Higgins Ferry boat landing before 10 a.m. on Saturday to get your map of dealer stops and game instructions. Players will travel by boat to seven dealer stops around the lake, drawing a card at each stop to form their poker hand. There will be food trucks at Higgins Ferry throughout the event so you can purchase lunch and snacks between stops. Boats will return to the Higgins Ferry pavilion before 2 p.m. to determine who has the winning hand. The winner will receive a $500 prize, second place $200 and third place $100. The entry fee is only $25 per player, and proceeds support the Lake Mitchell HOBO Scholarship Fund. Registration is online at lakemitchellhobo.org. If you cannot register online, you can arrive early Saturday morning and register in person with cash or check only. Credit cards are not accepted at in person registration.
