How many times have you heard someone say, “There’s nothing to do here”?  Nothing could be further from the truth here in Chilton County! There are so many exciting events coming up that you and your family can attend.

In April, you will not have to “hunt” for a place to find Easter Eggs.  West End Baptist Church will host an egg hunt on Saturday, April 1 from 10 a.m. – noon, and then Present the “King of Glory” performance on Sunday, April 2 at 6 p.m.

CareNet of Chilton County will host an egg hunt on Sunday, April 2 from 2– 4 p.m., at Goose Pond Park.

Exit Royal Realty has an entire month long egg hunt! Find eggs all over the county and bring them in to their Clanton location to spin the wheel and win great prizes.

First Baptist Church of Clanton will host their Easter egg hunt at Clanton City Park, on Saturday, April 8 from 2– 4 p.m. Mo’s Guardian Angelz will be hosting a hunt that day as well, from 2 – 5 p.m. at Thorsby Community Park.  Not to be left out of the fun and activities, The Town of Maplesville will be hosting their Small Town Spring Fling on April 8 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The M.A.C.C. and Chilton Chamber have teamed up with their members to bring you a business egg hunt on Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8.  Go in to participating businesses and find eggs, and one lucky person will find a golden egg in each participants store, full of discounts and more!

First Friday/Food Truck Friday events are back in full swing in Downtown Clanton, with activities and fun for all ages.

The end of April is sure to be just as busy and fun as the beginning! Starting with Market Days on the Farm at Cornelius Farms on April 28 and 29 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The Second Annual Chilton County Strawberry Festival will be held in Thorsby on April 29.

Relay for Life is not only a great cause, but it’s also great fun! Come out to the Maplesville City Park on May 6 for food, fun, and entertainment, while raising money and raising awareness. Survivors will be recognized, and those affected by cancer will be remembered.

Last, but certainly not least. Let’s get ready to kick off Peach Season!  June 2 will be the official kick-off to Peach Season with Clanton Peach City Fest!  Come out for food & fun, and see all of the amazing vendors that will be set up. It is sure to be a great time and sure to get you excited for the grand finale Peach Jam Jubilee!

2023 Peach Jam Jubilee will be June 24 from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.  With amazing artists like The Woods, Michael Warren, Callista Clark and our main headliner Niko Moon, Peach Jam Jubilee is where to be if you’re “Just lookin for a good time”!  With over 100 arts & craft vendors and over 30 food trucks, you are sure to find something you love!  This year, Peach Jam Jubilee will also feature local celebrities on stage, with the winners of “Chilton’s Got Talent” sponsored by the City of Clanton Arts Council.
