CES student named a Mott’s and Crayola national winner

Clanton Elementary School kindergarten student Everlie Harrison won her category in the national Back-to-School Design Contest, sponsored by Mott’s and Crayola.

Her design will be featured on select Mott’s packages in 2023 for back-to-school season.

As the applesauce design grand prize winner, Everlie will receive a “$10,000 tuition prize and commemorative display piece ”of her design, according to contest information.

Entries in the contest designed new packaging for apple juice or applesauce.

The big win comes after Everlie was named one of only six finalists in the nation.

The young artist and her family were excited for her success in the contest.
