From Rather Irregular Productions
Rather Irregular Productions is holding auditions for actors and puppeteers (and those who would like to do both) 18 years and older for a new web series which will begin production in May in Clanton. No experience necessary. Puppeteering and acting instruction will be provided for those who’d like to learn. Lines to read for each available character will be provided at the auditions.
“We’re very excited to begin production on this project that has been in the works for several months as a spinoff of Hall of Cryptids,” Craig Isley of Rather Irregular Productions said. “We believe this is a great opportunity for talented members of our community to express themselves and learn new skills. We look forward to meeting you at auditions!”
Lizard Manager’s Used Cryptids – An all new cryptid puppet comedy show made for all ages. A Lizard Man follows his dreams from the swamp to the “big” city of Crittersberg where he meets other cryptids like him with untapped talents. Realizing his gift of gab could help them out, he decides to start a cryptid talent agency and becomes the “Lizard Manager”.
Our goal is to produce several episodes to be released on our YouTube Channel and then put together as a feature film to be submitted to film festivals. Episode 1 will be produced and released first.
Auditions will be held at the Chilton-Clanton Public Library, 100 First Ave Clanton on May 1 at 3 p.m. Those who would like to help with production are also welcome.
