 MONTGOMERY POST – A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:06 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 13, has claimed the life of a Brunswick, Ga., man. John W. Brown, 29, was driving a 2005 Nissan Titan when the vehicle left the roadway, struck a pole and then a tree. Brown was not utilizing his seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Alabama 22 near the 47 mile marker, approximately four miles east of Maplesville in Chilton County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
