With the results of the tornados in Kentucky recently, a relief effort is being organized for the communities and people that were so badly impacted by this disaster. The tornadoes covered 10 counties and 227 miles with over 100 fatalities so far, but expected to rise. An American Legion 23rd District site has been established in Fultondale to collect all donations from the local Legion Posts.
American Legion Post 131, Columbiana, has a drop off site here in Clanton for any who want to help but do not know how.
Donations of any item or items listed below may be dropped off at the home of Dennis Ratliff; 205 Friendship Circle, Clanton, AL. If you plan to donate, please bring no later than Sunday, December 19. Contact phone: 205-258-5548
All donations will be taken to the Post in Columbiana to help fill the Fultondale trailer bound for Kentucky as soon as it is filled.
