For months, I have heard that Chilton County was known for its peaches. But, to be honest, I have never really liked peaches all that much.

I like other fruit, but just never really cared for peaches. Where I come from, strawberries are a big deal, so I mainly stuck to eating those.

However, during Peach Jam, I figured it was time that I try my first ever Chilton County peach, and boy did it live up to the hype.

For months, people told me that I had to try one. They told me that it would be nothing like any of the other peaches I had ever eaten. I did not believe one word of it until I had a peach.

It was delicious, and unlike any other peach I have had before, as advertised.

I got it from a booth from an established peach retailer at the event, and I have made it a priority to get more since then.

So, whatever the farmers in this county are doing to make the peaches so amazing, keep doing it. You have got a customer in me now for a lifetime.

So much for not liking peaches.
