A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 1:46 p.m. Friday, Feb. 12, has claimed the life of a Thorsby youth. The child, who was 3 years old, was a passenger in a 2006 GMC Yukon driven by Anthony Alleman, 33, when the vehicle left the roadway and collided with a tree. The child succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased following the crash. The crash occurred on County Road 107, five miles west of Jemison, in Chilton County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
