Murray granted parole

The Alabama Board of Pardons and Paroles has announced that parole has been granted for Chilton County resident Stephanie Therese Murray.
According to Alabama Department of Corrections information, Murray served five months and six days of a 42-month sentence for possession of a control substance (class D) and theft of property II. The charges were from August and September of 2020.
Parole was granted on Jan. 21.
