Clanton man dies in crash on Highway 22

A fatal two-car collision occurred on Alabama Highway 22 at 6:45 a.m. on May 21.
Stephon A. Price, 24, of Clanton was pronounced dead at the scene.
He “was killed when the 1999 Ford Mustang he was driving crossed the centerline and collided with a 2006 Kenworth T800 truck,” according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
“The crash occurred on Alabama 22 at the 57-mile marker, approximately five miles east of Maplesville,” ALEA reported.
ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is continuing to investigate the incident, and no further information is available.
