The Thorsby Council approved four personnel moves in conjunction with the Thorsby Fire Department during its meeting on Nov. 4.

Jason Davis and Greg Newman were hired as part-time fire fighters, while Brody Conway was approved as a volunteer and Jordan Jones as part of the cadet program.

Mary Morgan with Broken Vessels Recovery spoke to the Council about finding a place for the organization’s support group to meet.

The Council approved the organization to use the Annex building for its meetings each Tuesday of the month except for the first Tuesday due to the town’s planning commission using it that night.

The Council approved the minutes from the Oct. 21 meeting and paid the bills.
