Houston Carl McDowell, Jr., 67, of Clanton died Thursday, August 15, 2019, at his residence.

He was born on Wednesday, April 30, 1952 in Jefferson Co., AL, Son of the late Houston Carl McDowell, Sr. and Mary Virginia Bice McDowell.

He was a Real Estate Appraiser.

Surviving are Mother, Mary Virginia McDowell; Stepdaughter, Jordan (Brent) Cleckler; Stepson, Curt Roberts; Cousins, Mike (Kris) Collins, Kitty Collins.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Carl McDowell, Sr.

Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2019, at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Sunday, August 18, 2019, at 2 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Wes Kelley and Rob West officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin  Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
