Marcelle S. Hampton, 90, of Maplesville died Wednesday, January 23, 2019.

She was born Friday, November 2, 1928, in Chilton Co., AL, daughter of the late Richard Carey Stough and the late Ora Fowler Stough.

She was a Homemaker.

Surviving are husband, Jack Hampton; daughter, Anna Marcia (Smitty) Smitherman; granddaughter, Jessica Hampton-Snead; sister-in-law, Maxine Stough and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard & Ora Stough and son, Jim Hampton.

Friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2019, at Maplesville Baptist Church.  Services follow at 3:00 P.M. at Maplesville Baptist Church with Rev. Ty Parten officiating.

Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Maplesville, AL.
