The Chilton Auburn Club hosted its annual Beat Bama Party at First United Methodist Church on Nov. 15.

It was a night full of pageantry and conversation about the Auburn Tigers football season and the upcoming Iron Bowl against in-state rival Alabama.

A wide selection of homemade chili was the food for the event, which proved to be a popular choice on a freezing night.

Despite the cold temperatures, several club members were in attendance to show support for their favorite team.

Several attendees brought essential items to be donated to Butterfly Bridge. Sippy cups, books and molding clay were some of the items donated.

It was the first time that the Chilton Auburn Club and Butterfly Bridge had partnered in a donation effort during the Beat Bama Party.

Auburn-themed prizes were handed out throughout the event and games, such as corn hole also helped add to the tailgate-like atmosphere.

Members were also informed of Auburn Giving Day on Feb. 23, 2019, which is a major fundraising day for the university.

Club member Mike Cooper ended the night by helping fire up the crowd with some school chants.

It was a fitting end to a night of support for Auburn football, which remains strong despite a season that has not lived up to preseason expectations.
