Charles “Charlie” Edward Walker, 60, of Thorsby died Sunday, September 23, 2018, at St. Vincent’s Chilton, Clanton.

He was born Friday, January 17, 1958, in Hammond, Indiana, son of Walter Travis Walker and the late Barbara Jean Edmonds Walker.

He was a contractor. He was a member of Crossroad Baptist Church in Carrollton, Alabama, but recently attended Mt. Carmel #1 Baptist Church.

Surviving are wife, Pamela Walker of Thorsby, AL; daughters, Tina Walker of Clanton, AL, and Jessica (Jeremy) Lowery of Clanton, AL; grandchildren, Makinlee Lowery, Aubree Lowery, Rylie Lowery all from Clanton, AL; father, Walter Travis (Mary Lou) Walker of Carollton, AL; sisters, Sandra (Mike) Walker of Carollton, AL, and Cathy (Ray) Dennis of Clanton, AL; brothers, Greg (Linda) Walker of White City, AL, and Clint (Jennifer) Walker of Verbena, AL; and host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Jean Walker, his brother, Larry Walker, and a brother who passed away at birth.

Friends will be received from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., Tuesday, September 25, 2018, at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist #1.

Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel #1 Cemetery.
