One lucky duck will go home on Nov. 12 with two tickets to the Iron Bowl as a part of a YMCA of Chilton County fundraiser.

Director Lori Patterson said the facility wanted to raise funds for new cardio equipment, but wanted to get children at the Y involved.
Participants will purchase a rubber duck at the YMCA for $10. On Nov. 12, students in the Veterans Day Camp will release the ducks into the creek at Goose Pond Park bridge.

The owner of the first duck to cross the finish line wins the tickets.

Ducks can be purchased by calling 205-755-2382 or at the YMCA at 405 Ollie Avenue in Clanton.
