Carolyn Ray Ussery “GRANDMA or MAW-MAW”, age 71, of Clanton, went home to be with the Lord on August 25, 2018.

She was born in Alabama on July 20, 1947, daughter of the late Samuel Ray and the late Elouies Wilburn Ray.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandma. Her loving heart and kindness will be missed by all. She will be missed by everyone until we all meet again.

She is survived by: son, Zer Ussery; daughter, Cheri Ussery; daughter, Kim (Steve) DeLancey; 7 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; 1 sister; and her best friend, Chico.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry “Paw-Paw” Ussery. A private family service will be held.
