Carol Y. Williams, 65, of Midland, GA, died Saturday, June 30 at Kindred Hospice in Columbus, Georgia.

She was born September 28, 1952 in Clanton, AL, daughter of the late Bruce W. Thomas and Jettielene Minor Thomas. She was a member at Cascade Hills Church, founder and former president of the Columbus Civitan Club, former president of the Fountain City Civitan Club and former secretary for the GA District Fountain City Civitan Club. Ms. Williams was a director at Blue Cross Blue Shield for thirty-eight years.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Catherine Regina and Cynthia Renee and her birth father, Ernest Thompson and grandparents, Frenza Minor and Beanie Mable Mims Minor.

Survivors include her daughter, Tamara A. Conley Perez of Las Vegas, NV; granddaughter, Chelsey Conley of Columbus, GA; grandson, Thomas A. Bryce Conley of Columbus, GA; one great-grandson, Maverick Thomas Conley; companion and father of Tamara, Timothy A. Conley of Midland, GA; special cousin, Yolanda Fox, other relatives and her loving pet companions.

Friends will be received from 12-1 p.m., Saturday, July 7 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Saturday, July 7 at 1p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Randall Mims officiating.
