Chilton County United Way is giving away a brand-new grill through a donation drawing at Peach Jam on June 29.

Contestants can donate to Chilton County United Way for a chance to win the stainless steel, propane-gas run, char-broil grill.

“This is a nice item. Everybody who sees it — they’re going to want it,” Carol Fortuna of Chilton County United Way said.

Drawing tickets are $2 for one ticket, $5 for three tickets and $10 for five tickets.

Other drawing items will be featured at the booth as well.

All proceeds will be funneled into the 2019 Chilton County United Way goal to raise $175,000 to impact local agencies supported by the nonprofit organization.

Fortuna said Chilton County United Way aims to impact the future by investing in today’s youth. Participating in Peach Jam is another means for making a difference.

“We just want to thank people for coming out to the Peach Jam and supporting Chilton County (United Way), because we’re here to make it a better world for the youth in our community that will be our next leaders,” she said. “The money that we raise mostly helps the youth.”
