New Covenant Baptist Church is partnering with Through The Grace of God Ministries to present a singing benefit on May 19 at 6 p.m. at the church.

“They’re hosting it as a fundraiser for us,” Sunday Hosch of Through The Grace of God Ministries said. “It is nice.”

Scheduled to perform are local Gospel groups SpokenFor and the Mike Lowery Trio.

Admission is free.

The proceeds from a love offering collected at the event will “help the hungry,” Hosch said.

Through The Grace of God Ministries feeds Chilton County’s hungry community members with food boxes each weekday and a prepared lunch provided each Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, as well as dinner each Friday and Saturday.

Hosch said the singing aims to provide a time of “good fellowship and fundraising.”
