The Humane Society of Chilton County will hold its annual wine tasting and auction fundraiser on May 12 at Hidden Meadow Vineyard in Jemison at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.

Light refreshments will be served.

Entertainment will be provided by Caryl Lawson and Allan Stevens.

Shelter board member Katherine Reece said Hidden Meadow has donated use of the facility and wine servers for the event.

In addition, Hidden Meadow will donate $1 to the shelter for every bottle of wine sold during the event.

Proceeds for the fundraiser will be used to provide spay vouchers for female cats and dogs to pet owners during the Mother’s Spay! event on May 26.
