Clanton Police Department has released the name of the victim of the April 20 fatal motorcycle accident.

Brett Wilkinson of Hueytown, Alabama failed to successfully complete the turn coming off the Interstate 65 South ramp at Exit 208.

According to the CPD crash report, the motorcycle was going too fast for the curve and “struck a ditch which caused an ejection.

Wilkinson was pronounced dead by paramedics on the scene.

The accident happened around 11:45 a.m. on April 20, and Clanton Police responded to the scene.
