Lucille Salter Walker

Lucille Salter Walker, 91, of Clanton died Monday, Jan. 15 at Forest Manor, Northport.

She was born on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 1926 in Georgiana, daughter of the late Marvin Washington and the late Maggie Dean Salter.

She was a teacher.

Surviving are her daughters, Nancy (Don) Hartley and Alison (Andy) Stubbs; son, Jimmy (Cathy) Walker; grandchildren, Brandon McCullar, Maggie McCullar, Lucy Williams, Jarrod Stubbs, Katie Natalie, and Jim Walker; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Maggie Salter; husband, Elmer Wilson (Shorty) Walker; and husband, Horace Smith.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Jan. 20 at 11:30 a.m. at Chilton Memorial Gardens.
