Mildred “Millie” Lucille Knowles Daniel, 72, of Clanton died Thursday, Oct. 26 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster.

She was born on Sunday, April 15, 1945 in Century, Florida, daughter of the late Alfred Thomas Knowles and the late Lillian Harrison Knowles.

She was a dental hygienist.

Surviving are her husband, Joe Daniel of Clanton; sons, Glen Daniel of Verbena and Clay (Jennifer) Daniel of Hoover; grandchildren, Sam and Will Daniel of Hoover; sister, Fran Knowles of Clanton; and sister-in-law, Ellen Daniel of Searcy, Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A. T. and Lillian Harrison Knowles.

Friends will be received from 2:30-3:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 29 at Clanton Church of Christ.

Services will be held Sunday, Oct. 29 at 3:30 p.m. at Clanton Church of Christ with Gary Bradley, Jr. and Bob Terrell officiating. Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton.
