Aliceville 18 Thorsby 0

The game was a defensive slobber-knocker and remained scoreless heading into the fourth quarter.

It was Aliceville that eventually broke through in the final quarter of play and changed the scoreboard for the first time in the game.

According to Thorsby head coach Daryl Davis, it was an unbelievable game and his players “played their guts out.” He was extremely proud of them for their effort and intensity.

Despite the loss, the Rebels showed the rest of Class 2A that they are not going to back down from anybody.

Billingsley 34 R.C. Hatch 30

The Bears won a highly-contested offensive affair.

It was the third straight win for Billingsley, which has begun to turn its season around in recent weeks and is riding a wave of momentum after a sluggish start.

Keith 50 Verbena 6

The Red Devils are still searching for its first win of the season.

There are three games remaining in the season, with two of those at home.
