A two-vehicle crash on northbound Interstate 65 at Exit 200 has stopped traffic and blocked the roadway.

Cpl. Jesse Thorton of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said the department has responded to the scene, and told motorists to take an alternate route.

He described the incident as “involving a commercial vehicle with serious injuries.”

Verbena Fire and Rescue also responded to the scene.
