Isabella racks up points, yards

Isabella continued its torrid pace for a second consecutive week, with a 51-29 victory at home against Winterboro on Sept. 8.

The Mustangs compiled 482 total yards of offense on the night, 392 of which came on the ground.

Jaqarise Stacy finished the game with 324 all-purpose yards and contributed to the score board in multiple ways with touchdowns passing, rushing and on special teams with a punt return touchdown, all before halftime.

As a result, Isabella led 38-14 at the half and never looked back in the second half.

Jarred Campbell led a balanced rushing attack with 81 yards on the ground and a pair of scores.

Cornelius Stacy found success on both sides of the ball by hauling in a touchdown reception and recovering a fumble.

The Mustangs improve to 2-0 overall and will begin region play on Sept. 15 on the road against Autaugaville.
