Marcia E. Wallace

Marcia E. Wallace, 82, of Clanton died Tuesday, Aug. 22 at her residence.

She was born on Tuesday, June 11, 1935 in Louisiana, daughter of the late Marcus Mitchell and the late Etta Lucille Ezell Mitchell.

She was an office manager.

Surviving are her husband, John H. Wallace of Clanton; daughters, Judy (Mickey) Atkins of Clanton, Jeaneen (Dan) Harris of Granbury, Texas, and Joanne (Chris) Brown of Moulton; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Donnie Mier of Houston, Texas, and Emma Lou Crowe of Richmond, Virginia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus and Etta Mitchell; sister, Sylvia Davis; and sister, Nettie Rogers.

Friends will be received from 5-7 p.m., Friday, Aug. 25 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 26 at 11 a.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. James Watkins and Rev. Eddie Lightsey officiating.

Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton.
