Maplesville Heritage Day is set for April 8.

This annual event serves as a fundraiser for the Maplesville Fire Department.

“It brings our small town together,” organizer Christine Epperson said.

This year’s event will begin at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.

“We’ll have a car show. We’ll have music and a kiddie corner Arts and Craft vendors and food vendors,” Epperson said.

Heritage Day is held on Main Street.

JAC’s Party Rentals will have inflatables and games for the children. Along with opportunities for a picture with the Easter bunny and Elsa from Frozen.

Local dancers will perform at 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

The funds for the fire department are raised through charging vendors for a spot. Epperson said there is a wide variety of vendors this year from crafts and fire pits to Boutique and makeup vendors.

Food vendors from Maplesville Florist and Bakeshop, Big Bo’s BBQ and Pikes by Mike.

Valley Grande Mexican Grill, located on Main Street, will be open as a convenient option.
