George “Fella” Robert Moore

George “Fella” Robert Moore, 74, of Clanton died Friday, Dec. 9.

He was born on Sunday, Aug. 2, 1942 in Dallas County, son of the late Yancey Moore and the late Lemma Pear Massey Moore.

He was a mechanic.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Hayes Moore of Clanton; daughter, Sonia (David) Moore Cleckler of Clanton; grandson, Colin Cleckler of Clanton; granddaughters,Lauren Cleckler of Clanton, Mattie Cleckler of Clanton, and Emma Cleckler of Clanton; and sister, Rose Moore Mauldin of Northport.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Yancey and Lemma Moore; son, Yancey Earl Moore; brother, Massey Moore; sister, Madeline Moore Savage; brother, John Moore; brother, J.T. Moore; brother, Joe Moore; and brother, Yancey Moore.

Friends will be received from 2:30-3 p.m., Monday, Dec. 12 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Monday, Dec. 12 at 3 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Mike Allums officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
