Jemison rolled past Isabella 62-31 during a boys basketball game on Tuesday.

The Mustangs did not fair as well as their counterparts, despite starting the game with an early two point lead.

A 3-point basket from Wes McGehee kicked off a 21-0 Jemison run, that finally end with a Jaqarise Stacy free throw.

Will Graham added a three to end the first, but it was Jemison that would end period one with a 21-6 lead.

Stacy added an early Isabella bucket to start the second, but with a basket from Kaleb Bane, Jemison would embark on a 7-0 run that ended on another pair of baskets by Stacy.

Michael Henderson cut the Jemison lead to 15, but a pair of free throws from Kris Harris sent the Panthers to the half leading 32-15.

The teams started the third period matching one another basket for basket as the Panthers held on to a large lead through the mid point of the third period.

A three from Stacy made the score 40-22, but a basket from Ryan Thompson started an 8-0 Panther run that gave Jemison a 48-22 lead going into the final period of play.

Stacy would once again get things started in the fourth but, baskets from James Leachman and Thompson along with a three from Bailey Sammons further extended the Jemison lead to 33 midway through the period.

Stacy put an end to the Jemison run, but another basket led to a 5-0 Panther run to make the Jemison lead 62-26.

A basket from Stacy and a three from Christian Sammons brought the game to its final of 62-31.

Thompson led the Panthers with 14 points, seven rebounds, three steals and six blocks.
