Leroy Arthur

Leroy Arthur, 76, passed away Friday, Nov. 11 in Montgomery.

He was born Nov. 2, 1940 to Frank Daniel and Annie Cleckler Arthur in Chilton County. Leroy was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved to turkey hunt and pull for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Linda Arthur; his two sons, Breck (Linda) Arthur and Christopher (Connie Marie) Arthur; three daughters, Michele (Chris) Josey, Tina (Mike) Williamson, and Lori (Kyle) Nelson; eight grandchildren with one on the way; three great grandchildren; four sisters, Earline Allen, Louise (James) Kelley, Grace (J.W.) Veasey, and Ruthie (Don) Davis; two brothers, Frankie (Mary) Arthur and W. Delbert (Virginia) Arthur; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Johnnie Arthur; and one sister, Nettie Mae Minor.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 5-7 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services for Mr. Arthur will be held Monday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m at Brookside Funeral Home, Millbrook, with burial at Brookside Memorial Gardens.
