Sherry Watters Smith

Sherry Watters Smith of Clanton, passed away Monday morning, Oct. 3.

Sherry was born July 22, 1963 in Selma, the daughter of the late Leo and Flo Watters of Selma.

Sherry worked for the Chilton Water Authority for the last 20 years, much of that diligently fighting through a battle with cancer in an amazingly strong and graceful manner. Sherry was a very active member of the Liberty Hill Baptist Church.

Sherry is survived by her daughter, Nicole Smith Sullivan (Michael) of Prattville; sister, Debbie Perry (Trevor) of Montgomery, Diane Watters of Montgomery, and her twin brother, Terry Watters (Sarah) of Greenville, S.C. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family whom loved her dearly.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 6 from 5-7 p.m., also at Liberty Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 7 at 11 a.m., also at Liberty Hill.

Sherry and family request that instead of flowers, any remembrances that you may wish to provide be made to the Liberty Hill Baptist Church.
