Chilton County 34, Russell County 13

 

Chilton County defeated Russell County on the road behind 442 yards of total offense and controlling the game by running 35 more plays than their opponent.

After trailing 6-0 after one quarter, senior quarterback Kendall Davis heated up and finished the game with threw a pair of touchdowns both through the air and on the ground.

Keaton Sullivan was on the receiving end for both of Davis’ passing strikes.

Reshaun Davis led the team with 6.5 tackles, while Gage Minor and Nick Tomberlin each had a sack.

 

Isabella 55, Holy Spirit 0

 

Isabella defeated Holy Spirit 55-0. The Mustangs had nearly 300 rushing yards in an impressive road victory.

Jarred Campbell had 105 yards on 3 carries, while Hunter Langston had a 45-yard punt return for a touchdown and Austin Brasher had a 29-yard pick-six.

C.J. LeCroy hit all but one PAT on the night.

The Mustangs remain undefeated and will face Loachapoka next week on the road.

 

 

Billingsley 68, Autaugaville 0

 

The Bears dominated from start to finish against Autaugaville during homecoming.

The defense was ready for everything the Eagles threw at them and were able to maintain the shutout throughout.

Leading the way on offense was Larry Starks with four carrries for 87 yards and a touchdown; James Woods with three carries for 75 yards and two scores; Raymond Cutler had a 55-yard touchdown run and Nic Cleckley added a 48-yard touchdown run.

Starks also threw for a score on a 61-yard scoring strike to John Callens, as Billingsley found multiple ways to get points on the board.
