Hanson Leach

Hanson Leach, 88, of Jemison died Thursday, Sept. 15.

He was born on Sunday, June 17, 1928 in Chilton County, son of the late Andrew Jackson Leach and the late Dovie Smith Leach.

He was a business owner of Leach Automotive.

Surviving are wife, Jean H. Leach of Jemison; son, Donald (Patsy) Leach of Jemison; daughter, Sharon Leach (Sam) Davis of Jemison; granddaughters, Jessica Leach (Jason) Duren of Clanton, and Stephanie L. (Lance) Hilyer of Clanton; grandsons, Jerrod L. (Sarah) Leach of Jemison, and Rylan Davis of Jemison; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jackson & Dovie Leach.

Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17 at Mars Hill Baptist Church.

Services will be held Sunday, Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. at Mars Hill Baptist Church with Rev. William Earl Short officiating.

Interment will follow in Mars Hill Baptist Cemetery, Jemison.
