Ann Delores Bankston

Ann Delores Bankston, 80, of Verbena died Tuesday, Sept. 6.

She was born on Saturday, July 4, 1936 in Jefferson County, daughter of the late John F. Alley and the late Edna Reynolds Alley.

She was a federal employee.

Surviving are daughter, Grace Waddell; son, John Bankston; sisters, Johnnie (Jack) Ruddy and Sylvia (Bob) Jones; grandsons, Brad Edwards and Seth Bankston; granddaughters, Jamie Waddell Herndon and Jennifer Bankston Anderson; and great-grandsons, Matthew Bankston and Bankston Anderson.

Friends will be received from 12-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Simpler officiating.
