Joseph Rayfield “Ray” LeBlanc

Joseph Rayfield “Ray” LeBlanc, 87, of Clanton died Monday, Aug. 8 at Jackson Hospital, Montgomery.

He was born Sunday, Oct. 21, 1928 in Detroit, son of the late Joseph Emmanuel LeBlanc and the late Florence Mary Cain LeBlanc.

He was a tool and die engineer with the automotive industry.

Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Florence Elise of Clanton; daughters, Kathy (Garry) Hudson of Chesterfield, Mich., and Karen (Sammy) Cox of Clanton; sons, Keith (Joanne) LeBlanc of Columbiaville, Mich., and Kerry LeBlanc of the Dominican Republic; granddaughters, Monica, Nicole, Stephanie, Samantha, Jaclyn, and Renee; seven great grandchildren, brother, Joseph Leroy (Sharon) LeBlanc of Iron Mountain, Mich.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in East Pointe, Mich.
