FFA members from Jemison High School competed in the Alabama Jr. BEEF Expo in Montgomery.

The Alabama Jr. BEEF Expo is the year-end event for youth showing beef cattle.

These students began working with their project animals last summer and have shown them throughout the fall and winter months.

In addition to training these show animals, team members are also responsible for feeding, watering and maintaining overall good health for their show animals.

For these FFA members, participating in this show is the culmination of months of hard work and dedication.

Many awards and prizes were brought home by the team. Team members include: Carlos Paz, Annie Smith, Corey Short, Katelyn Stuman, Lucas Jones, Tucker Hilyer, Dylan McCombs and Lauren Jones.
