On June 7, the Thorsby FFA Career Development teams competed at the 88th annual Alabama FFA state competition held at Auburn University.

The Environmental Science team placed third overall, Dairy Evaluation placed second overall and Veterinary Science placed second overall.

Four teams (Horse Evaluation, Meat Evaluation, Land Evaluation and Poultry Evaluation) were named state champions.

Carson Littleton won first place in the individual Outdoor Recreation SAE.

These four teams, along with Littleton, will represent Alabama at the National FFA Convention held in Indianapolis, Ind. on Oct. 17-22.
