Four people were killed in a wreck Wednesday on U.S. Highway 82 near Maplesville.

A log truck and an SUV collided in the incident, which occurred at about 3:15 p.m. at the 107 mile marker, near Chilton County Road 337, just south of Maplesville, according to a press release from Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Destini Monique Davis, 21, of Montgomery, the driver of a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder, was killed along with three passengers: Tarlanda Davenport, 22, an infant younger than 1 and a toddler younger than 2.

None were using seat belts or properly utilizing child restraints, and all were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the press release.
