The Public Service Academy – Law Enforcement class at LeCroy Career Technical Center visited Breakout in Birmingham on April 28.

Breakout Birmingham is a real-life escape room adventure. The students were divided into four teams and were placed in four different scenarios: The Kidnapping, Casino Royale, Island Escape, and Hostage.

Each team had to work together to solve puzzles, crack codes and find hidden items in order to escape the room before the time ran out. Each team had one goal: escape the room in under one hour.

Three of the four teams were able to work together and escape their room, each with less than 2 minutes left. This team building experience helped to focus on creative problem solving, precision communication, patience, attention to detail, and working well under pressure.
