Locals among Huntingdon graduates

Huntingdon College graduated 90 members of the Class of 2016, Evening Studies program, on May 14.

Dr. Glenda Colagross, interim president of Southern Union State Community College, delivered the Commencement Address.

Yolanda Collins-Taylor, Class of 2016 Evening Studies, was selected to deliver the first ever graduate address for that programs’ Commencement Exercises.

Huntingdon’s Evening Studies program offers the Evening Bachelor’s Degree in 11 Alabama locations: Bay Minette, Faulkner State Community College; Birmingham, Lawson State Community College; Brewton, Jefferson Davis Community College; Center Point, Jefferson State Community College; Clanton, Jefferson State Community College, Chilton-Clanton Campus; Fairhope; Montgomery, Huntingdon College; Opelika, Southern Union State Community College; Pell City, Jefferson State Community College, Pell City; Rainsville, Northeast Alabama Community College; Shelby, Jefferson State Community College; and Sumiton, Bevill State Community College.

Courses in the Evening Bachelor’s Degree program meet just one night a week in five-week sessions and are built around a degree completion format.
