The following is an activity report of the Maplesville Police Department from April 1-April 30:

April 1

• A two vehicle accident on Us Hwy 82, Near C R 337, no injuries.

April 2

• An arrest was made for public intoxication: Dollar General.

April 4

• Arrest on an outstanding warrant for failure to pay child support: Graham St area.

April 6

•Two vehicle accident on CR 10: property damage only.

April 7

•A report was made for shoplifting from the Chevron on US HWY 82: suspect was identified and a warrant was issued.

April 11

•A report was made for theft by deception, after a man wired money to whom he thought was the IRS, when in fact it was a scam.

•Arrest at the Dallas County line after being picked up by Selma Police for an outstanding warrant with Maplesville for failure to appear for possession of marijuana.

April 12

• Arrest for public intoxication from the CR 45 and Mulberry Creek Bridge.

April 22

• Arrest for DUI after a traffic stop on ALA HWY 22 AND CR 310.

April 26

• A two vehicle accident was reported after a log truck was turning from AL HWY 22 onto Oil Tank Road, when a second log truck struck the protruding logs as the vehicle was turning: property damage only.

April 30

•A two vehicle accident was reported on US HWY 82 and Searcy Battles Dr. after a vehicle was rear-ended as it was turning into the Chevron: property damage only.
