Parrish, Mrs. Gloria Jaynelle, 78, a resident of Wetumpka, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at 2 p.m. from Gassett Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Glenn Bonds officiating.

Burial will follow in Providence Baptist Cemetery near Clanton.

She is survived by her husband, JC Parrish; daughter, Jay (Johnny) Carothers; siblings, G.C. (Wanda) Robinson, Olin (Linda) Robinson, Jon (Kathy) Robinson, and Cary (Linda) Robinson; in-laws, Wallace (Joan) Parrish, Ernest Lee (Pauline) Parrish, James Aaron (Peggy) Parrish and Rosemary Parrish-Taylor; step-granddaughter, Kayla Carothers Jackson and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister Sandra Little, nephew Christopher Little, and step grandson John Carothers, III.

Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday at Gassett Funeral Home.
