Maplesville Police Dept. reports for the month of January

The following is an activity report of the Maplesville Police Department from Jan. 2-Feb. 17:
Jan. 2
•Harassing communications report was made from the 600 Block of Alabama Highway 139.
Jan. 4
•A report was made of a male using the computer in the Maplesville Library and looking up pornographic material.
Jan. 5
•After a traffic stop at the Chevron on U.S. Highway 82, a male and female were arrested for drug paraphernalia, meth, digital scales, a .22 rifle and a 9mm pistol.
•A report was made for a prowler in the area of County Road 316.
Jan. 7
•A report was made for criminal mischief from the trailer park next to the Chevron on U.S. Highway 82, after a fight over a boyfriend between two women resulted in front door glass being shattered.
Jan. 9
•After a traffic stop on U.S. Highway 82, an arrest was made for possession of marijuana and a pistol without a permit, two males were taken to the Chilton County Jail.
•A report was made for harassing communications from the trailer park adjacent to the Chevron on U.S. Highway 82 involving the same incident on the glass getting shattered.
Jan. 16
•An arrest for theft of property was made from the Auction House on Railroad St. A 54-inch television was taken, a male was arrested.
•A report was made for a domestic incident at the rest area on U.S. Highway 82.
Jan. 19
•An assault and criminal trespass was reported from the County Road 323 area after three females assaulted another female at her home.
Jan. 20
•A single vehicle traffic accident occurred on Alabama Highway 22 and County Road 310 with a female being injured and evacuated by ground ambulance.
Jan. 21
•A report was made for four females making a false report to law enforcement over an assault, case is under investigation. Incident took place at Seales Grocery.
Jan. 23
•A report was made for a theft from a vehicle on Birch St. in Maplesville. A Garmin GPS was stolen.
Jan. 27
•An arrest was made at Maplesville High School on a student who had marijuana in his vehicle.
Jan. 29
•An accident report was made from County Road 10 and U.S. Highway 82 intersection, one vehicle was rear ended by another. No injuries were reported.
Jan. 31
•An arrest of a female was made for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest from the Timbers Grill on U.S. Highway 82.
•A single vehicle accident was reported at the interchange of U.S. Highway 82 and Alabama Highway 22 after the vehicle ran off the road and hit a stop sign.
