Vendor applications are now available for the second annual Easter petting zoo and pony ride fundraiser.

The event is sponsored by the Chilton County Humane Society and will be held March 19 beginning at 10 a.m. at Ollie Park.

The event will include a petting zoo, pony rides, Easter egg hunts, Easter egg races, an Easter bonnet contest, carnival style games and prizes for children of all ages.

Anyone interested in renting a vendor booth can rent a 10×10 space for $20. Vendor applications are available online at www.chiltoncountyhumanesociety.org/documents/easterfundraiser/application.

Applications must be received by March 1, according to Katherine Reece with the Chilton County Humane Society.

Reece said any booth or application found to be inappropriate by the Chilton County Humane Society will not be accepted or will be asked to leave.

No booth will be allowed to sell animals of any kind, including reptiles.

There will be no electricity available at any booth space.

Vendors will not be permitted to give away water, drinks or food, and vendors will supply their own equipment and needs.

Reece said there will also be a sponsorship package for businesses that are interested.

“With a $100 donation they get their business name shown in our sponsors area, a free booth and they are added to our Partners in Compassion Facebook page and given one of our Partners in Compassion T-shirts, designed by artist Diana Hiott,” Reece said.
